I recently attended AFI Association of Food Industries convention as the +1 (my husband does the importing for Sahadi's) and I got to thinking that one of the things that sets us apart from many other specialty food stores is our ability to source the best from around the world. While the group was listening to lectures on quality control and traceability, I was thinking about how we often skip that step.
