I have been buying and drinking French Roast coffee for 50 years. I discovered this outstanding coffee by accident. I was visiting my son in Brooklyn and ran out of the ground Fresh Roast espresso that I had brought from home in Colorado. Without exaggeration I must say that this is the best I have ever had. It is strong without having that burned taste that has become so common in dark roast coffees. For years I have made my morning espresso with two full scoops of espresso-ground coffee so that it would be strong enough to go with the large amount of hot cream that I use in the morning. With this Sahadi coffee I use one scoop! That difference in coffee use more than pays for the shipping to Colorado, now that I am bac home and wanting the best.
