Pistachio Halawa (Halva)

Traditionally eaten on its own as a Middle Eastern dessert or candy, this pistachio halva (or halawa) from Al Wadi is made with tahini, chunks of roasted pistachio, sugar and halawa extract (or marshmallow root). Halva can be blended into ice cream, incorporated into cake and pastry fillings, and crumbled into cookie dough. 

Refrigerate after opening.
